Sucralose Suppliers

HYET Sweet produces its own Sucralose with European Quality control and standards and HYET Sweet distributes Sucralose worldwide.

Popular Sweetener

Sucralose (E955) is derived from sugar through a highly patented manufacturing process. It substitutes three atoms of chlorine for three hydroxyl groups on the sugar molecule. The scientific formula is C12H19Cl3O8. Sucralose is a popular sweetener that is approximately 600 times sweeter than Sucrose (sugar) and three times as sweet as Aspartame. (Erythritol contains around 70% of the power of Sucrose). Therefore very small amounts are required as a food additive to gain a sweet taste. It is the only high intensity sweetener that is produced from sugar and tastes exactly like sugar. It has no bitter aftertaste, unlike its counterpart Sacharose.

Heating

Sucralose can be very well used for baking application. Sucralose has an exceptional stability while being heated. This makes it ideal for canning, baking, pasteurization and aseptic processing. However it cannot be used in some baking recipes such as crème brûllée due to the fact Sucralose cannot fully melt and crystallizes when it is in its dry state. Sucralose only melts at 119 degrees Celsius.

Great stability

The stability of Sucralose is exceptional. This means that it can be applied in a diverse range of products such as baking products, beverages, pharmaceuticals, confectionary and candy, salad dressings and sauces, sour products and so on. Sucralose is perfect for use in products that require long shelf life due to its fantastic heat resistance and stability within acidic and alkaline products. It can be used perfectly in  dried fruits for example. Also many light, diet and zero sugar drinks, confectionery and desserts are sweetened with Sucralose as a sugar substitute. The dissolubility of Sucralose is also exceptional,  which means that it is perfect for beverages and other manufacturing processes.

No calorie sweetener

Although Sucralose is formed from natural sugar, it is not recognized as a carbohydrate by the body and therefore contains no calories. It is a helpful alternative to those looking to reduce their standard sugar or calorie intake for weight and health purposes. Other than Sucrose, Sucralose will not be broken down for energy. It will be processed by the body rather fast, which means it is virtually unchanged when leaving the body. In other words, Sucralose is perfect for people that suffer from diabetes and people that want to lessen carbohydrate intake. Diabetic people can consume Sucralose because it has no effect on short- or long term blood glucose control.

Safety

Sucralose is safe for the whole family including pregnant or nursing women, elderly and children. The safety is guaranteed by a wide range of safety testing, like all other food ingredients. Scientists also found that Sucralose does not promote tooth decay. Multiple studies found that oral bacteria do not use Sucralose.
